They charge 6.5 for a sit down porkroll and its half of the size of marrickville porkroll. You sit for a bit longer, the oily smell from other restaurant will stain your hair and clothing. Even though youve just had a porkroll and a smoothie.. but nice location and interior deco.
Beef Pho is consistently good with just cooked beef and nice savoury soup that is not too sweet or salty. Nice dipping sauces Crispy skin chicken w rice is yummy and comforting for most days Rice paddy curry from the dishes menu is tasty and yummy.Vermicelli salads are nice and refreshing, veg is greater not too thin or thick for a nice mouth feel.Pork spring roll is much better than veg spring roll. Rice paper rolls are ok, well packed and do not fall apart and at the same time not too thick so u get a sticky mouth feel from the skin.
Here for lunch right now at Nguyen Brothers. Ordered the Rice Vermicelli in wok-fried beef and grilled pork. Both just yummy!We had pho last time and the stock has always been good. Highly recommend trying out his place if youre around the corner 🙂
This place is great! We got the pork roll, pork and prawn rice paper rolls and crispy skin chicken in vermicelli for $26!! Food came out very quick and was very tasty. Will be back.
Absolutely loved the food! Ordered the rice paper rolls, tofu and lemongrass main, noodles and vegan fried rice. Full of flavour and really light on the tummy. Attentive staff and well designed interiors.
Nguyen Brothers is a nice little dine in with a relaxing and comfortable vibe. I was just left feeling a little lack lustre after my chicken vermicelli salad. One of my go to’s when getting Vietnamese, this one just didn’t feel super authentic and the components just didn’t marry together for an exciting dish. The chicken was cooked beautifully and it was soft and juicy but it kind of felt like it was a piece of chicken placed with noodles and then salad and not elements coming together as one. I would still like to try their rice paper rolls and I do think the price is quite reasonable.
The fountain Street complex has really turned out nicely and this viet place fits right in. Pho and fried chicken – can’t miss really and they didn’t disappoint. Recommended. And the fact you can grab a campos on the way out is no great hardship either.
