Been walking pass this place everyday and finally got the chance to try it out. Its a really interesting place and seperate you from a modem suburb to a Italian dining bar. Love the food and you wont get born with them. Nice selection of wines and the staffs are really helpful.
Fantastic food, the service was amazing. A great wine list to accomplish too! The duck was my favorite dish!! I think we have found our new local.
You walk in and its a nice restaurant and ambiance. And then the waitors are also very friendly and welcoming. But then it gets disappointing from there because the food was quite expensive yet was only OK. They are trying to be a little bit fine dining in their presentation and serving sizes yet they it falls over when it comes to taste. It just lacked great flavours. It was a bit like they are trying to be a bit fine dining, a bit tradition homely Italian yet fail at both.
An amazing hidden gem! Excellent food and service but not cheap. The pasta and veal special was sensational and possibly one of the best tiramisu Ive ever had. Great atmosphere and easy parking. Must book in advance. Definitely will be back again. Cant believe its not hatted….yet.
I was intrigued by this little suburban wine bar, driving past it daily during its fit out. Nestled relatively inconspicuously on a suburban street, you could easily miss it, but once found it’s not easily forgotten. As you enter off the street via a large wooden door, the room opens into a cosy, softly lit bar with welcoming warm and familiar leather and wood finishes. We were sat at the bar and immediately attended to by our bar waiter who kindly talked us through the menu. Maaaaan he knew it back to front! We decided on three shared entrees and one shared main. Everything was just delicious. The 7 way cauliflower was a textural wonderland, the burrata was fresh and creamy, the pork belly just melted. Yum. Theres no doubt it was fresh produce thoughtfully curated but was a little expensive for the portion sizes. We will definitely be back to try a new season menu and hopefully we leave a little fuller because it really was delicious!
You cant ask for much more from a neighborhood restaurant: excellent food, unusual wine list, great ambiance (and lighting – amazing how many places get this wrong!), and good service.
The vibe of the restaurant is quite laid back, with wines up on the wall , love the fitout. Started with amazing selection of cheese which the waiter had chose for us. Mains had Tonnarelli with mussels but pasta was cooked quite hard, Swordfish with Fennel ,watercress and radish, the fish was quite dry. Lastly lamb rump with pistachio , beetroot the lamb was lacked seasoning. However the tortellni with mushroom walnut pesto this was my favourite lots of flavour and filling. Dessert had the tiramisu and torta di mele was happy with both of the dessert i would give this resturant another try as i really enjoyed entree and dessert hopefully mains will be better next time
