Aoki has a train but theres nothing on it – why bother when there are so few customers on a Saturday night? So I order some fish and the fish was good but the skills were clearly poor – the salmon sashimi had rough cuts and the tuna roll looked like it was rolled by a kid. The gyoza took 20 minutes to arrive but was undercooked. The prices are low though so if they just put in an ounce of effort, it would be a very good value sushi joint.
I recommend the seafood ramen (or udon Ive tried both) its quiet nice and the price is quite cheap for a seafood dish.I ordered through UberEats once in a while and they never once disappointed meSushi is always really freshThe pork Gyozar (I dont know if its spelled correctly lol) was quite nice I loved itMy favourite is the squid (ika) sushi and scallops theyre the must order dishes for me!
Sushi ain’t bad.. not amazing but it’s great to have it nearby. Decor is a bit cold. But it’s a sushi train so wouldn’t expect some luxurious experience. Would return.
After much anticipation we tried Sushi Aoki. Super sweet service, lovely food and very reasonable pricing. As a walking distance local this restaurant has forced its way into the rotation.
