Came here for dinner with a few friends tonight. The setting was nice, with some pretty lights. Good thing it was undercover because it started pouring once we were seated. The staff were friendly and helpful, we got a table immediately even without a booking. I had the pumpkin fatteh, which had a generous portion and tastes delicious (that says a lot coming from someone who isn’t a huge fan of pumpkin but decided to give it a try on a friend’s recommendation). The caramel cake dessert was also delicious. I had the mule-tide drink which was average, but would be keen to try some of the other drinks. Nice ambience, good service, delicious food.

Melbournian here! Great concept! Outstanding atmosphere and very creative! Staff were friendly and attentive.Really enjoyed the vegetarian gnocchi! (For those who sit on the fence with gnocchi, this was gold!)Steak was great! Just needed a selection of sauce! And possibly a different turn to the potatoes, just didnt suit the steak. Other than that great restaurant to experience at the grounds of Alexandria! Take your lover, friends and family here for an amazing experience!
Food was pretty delicious!! I reckon the portions could be a little bit bigger for the price. I love the aesthetic and the quality of detail they put into making the food pretty. Mussels were so tiny though!! That was the only disappointment
The tranquil and picturesque ambience truly sets apart The Grounds from the rest! The beautiful terrace and the stunning arch made from flowers is so mesmerising, you will find yourself lost exploring this botanical garden!The food is amazing and a great selection to cater to everyones preferences! The only downside is the waiting time to get seated. We had to wait over 2hours, but this was the perfect time to take pictures and explore The Grounds so the time went by pretty quick. I highly recommend visiting The Grounds. Its a great place to take your friends and family who are visiting from overseas because its definitely a unique and beautiful brunch spot!
My first go-to whenever Im in Sydney – cant get enough of this place! The Grounds is full of good vibes, staff are so friendly and nice, and the food is faaantastic! They also change their menu once in a while and it keeps me excited for more.
#literallyondietWent to this shop around 4pm and plan to go to the grounds ended up they closed, still a good place to chill. Friendly service, but price is abit too much….Overall this is ok for chilling with friends or for instagram photos.
