Enjoyed my evening at North Annandale hotel. Had never dined here and was quite surprised by the nice seating area at the back of the pub. Menu is quite simple but they have a good specials selection. We shared the wedges, platter for two which came with a nice selection of meats and seafood as well as side bread and the chicken wings. The wings were bloody amazing. If you like spice, try these. Just so succulent and yum. Would return for the wings and wine.

The North Annandale has recently had a major extension and renovation which includes an outdoor balcony and open plan seating which overlooks a kids playroom complete with TV, toys and books. We had a family arvo here with some other parents and gotta say it is really great, and the food has improved a lot since we were here last. And it’s about time, because this place is an institution that deserved a decent bistro.I had the crispy skin salmon with veg pure and greens – it was great. Others had the steak, pulled pork burger amongst other things and the feedback was also positive.Great place to come now for lunch or dinner with toddlers who can occupy themselves in the room while you watch them from your table.Service was friendly and smart – the kids meals arrived first.
It was not toddler friendly. There are activity bags but they are aimed at 8 years plus. There is no outdoor area except for the smokers area. The food was ok. Staff mostly nice but have no idea about toddlers. Go somewhere else if you have very young children.
For pub food I thought this place was great, took the parents here for dinner and we all got a main each and the price was under $60 for three, servings were great size for price and everyone loved their meal.Nice place to go if you want a meal with a relaxed vibe!
