Are here while staying at the hotel. Room service good. Ordered side of zucchini, chilli, garlic and coriander. Alas, no coriander. Left swimming in oil. Steak was good, cooked to order. Enjoyed the onion jam. Broccolini delicious.Breakfast was bacon, poached eggs, tomato, spinach. Nice, well cooked. Very enjoyable. Maybe some fritters or something else a bit different would be good?A selection of low calorie options would be a nice addition for those after healthy alternatives.
Outstanding. I booked a table for my family to celebrate a birthday and we were amazed by the quality of the restaurant, food and service. Our waiter John Harris was exceptional and the food variety and quality was just superb. Full marks to the Powerhouse for investing in such a quality establishment and team, well done!
I arrived on a fairly quiet evening. You have the choice of eating a full restaurant meal or staying at the bar for tapas, I opted for the latter. The decor is modern, music relaxed and very chilled. The cosmonaught cocktail packed a punch. My first plate arrived quickly (admittedly it was a bread), pâté had a good flavour. Next dishes out shortly after, pork belly was delicious and the meatballs were well seasoned. The standout however was the service, Sven my waiter and barkeep was friendly, knowledgable and had excellent attention to detail. Other staff were equally as attentive and serviable. To find a restaurant that would be equally at home in Sydney or Melbourne as it is in Armidale is quite a surprise. 9/10, a very pleasant experience indeed, definitely worth visiting if you’re in Armidale.

Readers, what do you find romantic?? We all know for me it is a comfy lounge, fireplace and a glass of wine with a special someone, let me know what other things you find romantic.
