Woeful. Waitress was very helpful but all down hill from there. Coffee arrived quickly. However, it tasted rank. Likewise, shabby chic was yesterday ten years ago, some NEW cups and mugs would be a good idea, at least the coffee would look nice! 15 minutes for two pieces of cake to arrive is a bit long to wait, especially as there was only a handful of other diners there. Oh, and when the customer approaches the counter, and mentions they would like to pay, it’s never a good idea to ignore them; they could leave without paying, or they could, as I’m inclined to do, not go back.
Useless. We walk down to the CBD to have breakfast we sat in Richardsons arcade for 15 minutes waiting for the fat goose x-ing to open at 9:00am. At 9:10 once the doors had all been opened of a while we decided to go and find a table. Only to enter the store and be told that we couldn’t sit down yet and that they wouldn’t be opened for another 5 minutes. If the staff spent less time talking to each other perhaps they would have been ready on time and wouldn’t need to be so rude to potential customers. We won’t be back. We are now sitting around at caffiends with friendly staff and a packed house.
