Had dinner here a few days ago and although the service was pretty okay, the food was not as amazing. We were a small group of four and our orders took quite a while to arrive, probably about 30mins, considering we all ordered just 1 dish each. I got the laksa which I think is pretty pricey for such a small serving. The broth was okay, not bland at all but quite sweet in comparison to the other laksa dishes I’ve tried. I kind of felt quite unhappy with the noodles though. It was like one of those instant ramen noodle ones you get in a packet or something. First time seeing that used for a laksa. We haven’t tried the other dishes they offer yet so there could still be a chance those would be better.
This Thai restaurant is by far one of the best ones I have been to. The curry is very flavourful and the rice is always cooked to perfection. The service is very fast and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very calm and intimate. The owner of the restaurant is very nice. It is always a must-go every time we pass by Armidale.
Service wasn’t bad at all. We had a long drive to Armidale today and we were needing some veggies in our meal. They altered their dish for us and it was perfect, tasted delish! We shared a meal (with large coco rice) and left full and happy.
While the vegetarian food (red curry) tasted okay, the dine in service is dreadful. They forgot to take your order unless they were hunted down; and the table beside me had one dish served at a time. By the time their last dish arrived, everyone else at the table had finished their meal. You get better service for takeaway.
Gone Downhill. Went to this a couple of times within the last 2 years – it was pretty good, hence the return visit. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill somewhat. Most of the meat dishes are over ladened with veggies with little servings of meat. Their satay chicken skewers around 2012 were great and tasty, but the sauce now lacks any peanutty flavour, very bland and not to mention serving portions are now smaller. They need to beef (no pun intended) their serving of meat in their dishes, cause paying $15 on avg for a meat dish to be served fancy cut carrots, ho-hum broccoli and shallots aint going cut it.Would think twice about going there again.
