A big pub and bistro that do decent pub food. We had garlic bread and pizzas as well as a couple of drinks. Weve been a couple of times now and it is good food at a decent price. A big venue thats also good for events. Near the train station and plenty of parking aroundtheclockfoodie.com
The best chips and wedges I have had in a long time – perfectly crispy, salty on the outside and deliciously fluffy on the inside. The Buttermilk fried chicken was also very good. As you can tell Im clearly not on a diet. The pizza however was a bit of a let down, the crust was too tough.Very nice Australian Pale Ale on tap helped to make it a very pleasant afternoon.
Nice pub food in big portion. The Portuguese roast chicken has a nice charred taste. The peri peri sauce got a kick in it which was tasty. There were good amount of chorizo in the saffron fried rice. Pork belly was a bit fatty. The skin wasnt as crispy as I would hope for. The side was great with big amount of garlic mash. Friendly staff.
Great venue, good food, good service. I had a few birthday get together here. Only if more pubs were like this. Could do with some more specials, even do breakfast specials on the weekend
Good clean well organised place for a feed.Drumetts with pickles and hot sauce were yum and crunchy. Ceaser salad equally as good with a nice cooked egg on top.I went for the mussel green curry for main and hubbie the steak. His scotch fillet was very fatty. He said it was cooked to his preference but couldn’t over come the fat content in the fillet. Mine was plentiful and tasty. It was served with brown rice and green beans. It was smothered in sauce. Only let down was the amount of salt in the dish. Geez. Very salty. Even for my hubbie who salts everything this was a smack in your face salty.Overall a good bistro. Thinking about taking some of my work colleagues out here in a few weeks. Cheap enough and good enough.
My first visit today for a party and I found the space quite nice. They have many areas to sit and they had one section closed off for the party. We had platters of food that came out and there were some good items like the arancini, mini burgers, squid but then some average ones also.Overall a great space for people to dine.
Good food and amazing 2 for 1 deal!! It’s a good relaxed casual vibe and the menu changes to suit the season. The dishes are of good portion and the salads are different and exciting flavours
