Our suburb just keeps getting better! Because it was raining we decided to get fried chicken. lol! I know! Noodle soup and rainy night should be the perfect combination. Anyway, we found The Hungry Bird Chicken as among the shops that sells fried chicken and its not too far away from our address. So the husband brave the rain and went to the shop. It was a small shop with some seating. Menu is not extensive and looks very promising. Orders didn’t take too long. Except for the grilled/ charcoal chicken which he has to wait for a bit. When he got home and opened the boxes – whoa! Huge chicken slices and it all smelled so crazy good. And we were not disappointed. By the way we both got the charcoal chicken and the fried chicken. Both were good. The fried chicken was crunchy on the outside and perfectly juicy on the inside. The coating was well seasoned. But the winner in my opinion is the charcoal chicken. The herbs, the aroma and the taste of the chicken is just something I would eat over and over. Although the chicken was a bit dry but the taste just overwhelms you with delight.
