Was disappointed with the quality of food for the price paid. The food that I ordered is more like just assembling the food on the plate. The bread is not even buttered and toasted. Went back to get coffee and sort of got deprioritized from regular customer. Stand there for a good 20 seconds before anyone take my order. The barista only took my order when his regular customer came shortly after me. Both my order and coffee was served after the person came after me.

Friendly staff…good coffee. Only been here a few times, but every time got amazing service.Avocado smash is impressive.Small hidden treasure of Artarmon.
I am a big fan of Salvages’ coffee. Been here almost every week after they opened. Food is really nice too;) love their smashed avocado and toastie! Artificer coffee roaster is a bit too Melbourne for me. Still tastes very nice but a bit milky. Love their black coffee and batch brew.
Hole in the wall coffee shop with a small kitchen as well. I got a skim latte take away and really loved the serving temperature. Would drink again.
Always love this place for AMAZING coffee and great breakfast items and sandwiches, and nice (even posing) staff we got the Salt Beef SandwichEggs Royaleand Croque Madame my salt beef sandwich was delicious but warning: mustard lovers only.
In the cozy village square near Artarmon station you will find a Salvage. A friendly local spot with outdoor only seating and conveniently located for commuters. Coffee ordered:Flat white and long black. The coffees were great. Well presented and most importantly delicious. My long black was perfectly extracted and full of those vibrant fruit notes from the Ethiopian single origin. Ambience:The staff were were super friendly and keen for a chat about coffee. I was served promptly and found a great seat out front. I’m not sure what they do when it’s raining, but sunshine is best out here. Unfortunately I don’t live nearby but would be happy to return when I’m in the area.
