Had a really enjoyably lunch at the crocodile farm hotel. The bistro area up stairs looks modern, and the customer service from staff was phenomenal. I had the fish and chips, I actually loved that it was served on a wooden paddle, and whilst it was a simple dish the fish was crispy without being overly oily, and the chips were great, not many of them, but good nonetheless.
One of those places when you visit while you’re on holiday. I was expecting more Crocodile dishes given the name. The Crocodile curry was good. I liked the look of the parma and had a bit of food envy. If I was to visit again I would probably try the parma instead.
Used a Dimmi special to come here with 50% and the only exception is the $10 rump steak Dining is upstairs and we were quickly seated and served Food came out quicker than expected and when it came out…The beetroot and feta salad was the dish that has the most taste! That’s strange but true. It was nothing special but good for what it is. The half beetroots should of been smaller size cuts so you can have more mouthfuls with the other ingredients My John Dory and veges had no taste despite butter sauce on it My fiance’s crocodile curry had barely any taste also which is a shame because not many places serve crocodile but this dish won’t encourage you to try more crocodile in future It’s only when you go inside that you notice it’s not a dingy old pub and upstairs has a big TV and lounge area to go along with the dining area The only thing that would bring me back is the $10 rump steak deal
Whenever I am in Sydney, I stay in the inner west. I look forward to dining at the Crocodile Farm in Ashfield. It is modern elegance but moreso you are treated like you are welcome. Sanjay and the staff have impeccable manners. The meals are great. You are not rushed or pressured. When you leave -you know you will return. Top shelf-top everything and all at a reasonable price. For mine none better!
out for dinner tonight at the croc farm. New owners great service great food fresh brew none better in this area
Could be great. Good spot, nice staff, lots of potential with a more than ideal upstairs dining area. All of that is irrelevant if the food is below average. I mean coleslaw with steak! Im not sure what there on, although when you know your steak has been microwaved everything else starts to make sense.bad
