5 of us dined here to celebrate a birthday. We are big fans of Korean BBQs and thought we’d give this local joint a try. The BBQ meat dishes were small and when we asked if salad came with the BBQ part we were told it did. Yes, the salad did come out (not lettuce like at Korean joints) but one small rice bowl of Asian coleslaw salad between 5 people! When we queried it, they told us the same sized bowl would also be served gratis to 2 diners ie: regardless of table size. We would have done better to sit at 2 tables if this were the case. My husband hassled them and got ‘extra’ salad, but I’m not sure if we were charged for it in the end. The ‘big’ rice for $5.90 a bowl was what would be condsidered a small bowl elsewhere (hate to see how much rice you’d get in a small bowl). To be fair, the meal was tasty (especially the bipimbap and teryaki chicken) and we did enjoy it, but we were not full. Would I go back?? Possibly not with better value options in Ashfield.

Great little casual place right by the train station. We had the pork belly and wagyu beef which was divine. The greens were lovely and crunchy, served with a sesame sauce and we were also given a cabbage salad which was quite nice. The edamame could have done with a bit more salt (and I don’t normally like salt) though.
