You wouldn’t find this restaurant unless you were looking for it. The shop front is dull. It is CASH ONLY as well.Upon entering, we were ignored so we took some menus and sat down at a table. Interior decor is decent, a nice attempt to make it trendy with white texta written on blackboards, wooden crates and stacks of ingredients on the shelves. My partner wasn’t a fan of having yo order at the counter when the layout is of a dine-in restaurant. It presents a rushed-ambience.We ordered a prawn pad thai, duck side salad and chicken fried rice. The prawns in the pad thai were larger than normal but for the high price, they didn’t give much. Noodles appeared appetising but was average. The duck was really chewy according to my partner – I can’t eat duck so I couldn’t taste it – though it was not recommended. The fried rice was dressed with soy sauce, the chicken was dry and unpleasant. The good thing about this dish was that it came with alot of chicken, just a shame it wasn’t something we were after.Out of all three dishes, the pad Thai was the best bit even that is not enough for us to return.Staff attitude is something I’m not happy about – at first being ignored. When we asked for chilli, there was no one at the counter so I asked the elderly lady at the back table preparing dumplings. She sighed and rolled her eyes! Then told me there’s soy sauce chilli near the door, brought it to me. When I asked for fresh chilli she gave such a huff.We asked for it again halfway as we used it all – she gave a small pinch. She seemed so annoyed and yelled something to the kitchen staff in her language.Food – averageService – disapproving and unfriendly Not recommended!
I eat here regularly. Small place but solid Thai food. King prawn tom yum is my favourite. Service its friendly. Just nothing extra special.
Tasty, quick, fresh Thai meals. Fresh meals on demand and reasonably priced with a smile. Wide range of classic dishes. What’s more to ask of a Thai restaurant?
Went here for the lunch special. I had the Chicken Pad Hokkien, it was OK. A bit plain and low on ingredients exclusive of the large serving of noodles of course. Really, what was in the dish was pretty average. It is self service with regards to water, so if you don’t mind, you can get refills easily and quickly.
Nice outdoor garden.Good food and with a reasonable price.Service could be a bit better as you will need to order at the cashier.Apart of it, I would recommend it
Basic Thai food.nothing extraordinary. The seafood dish prices are a lil on the pricey side.I have found them to be inconsistent.Sometimes they cook pretty well but other times they just rush it like cook 4 dishes in 5 minutes.the water tasted funny the other day and the condiment and sauces choices were pretty mediocre.
This is my favourite Thai restaurant, incredible food, quality and serving size. Also have awesome cheap lunch deals.Check them also out on Menulog for special deals and extras!
