Have been here twice and have been impressed both times. Really tasty curry, delicious hand made breads. Their lahori chole (chickpeas) are one of my favourites. Super cheap approx $10 a dish.Lovely service with a smile too. Definitely check this hidden gem in Auburn out, you won’t regret it.
Went down for the Iftar buffet and was not disappointed! Easily one of the better $16 buffets out there, offering a nice range of meat curries and vege options as well (which were honestly amazing and even better than the meat dishes). The owners were incredibly friendly and would come around with fresh fried chicken and bread whenever they finished cooking it to ensure we always had the best experience we could. The only issues I could point out would be that the metal plates weren’t always as clean as could be (I understand that they’re difficult to clean but perhaps a smaller plate would be a better choice even if it is less traditional). The rice pudding, whilst delicious could benefit from using crushed cardamon pods instead of chopped up ones since eating them wasn’t very pleasant when trying to enjoy the silky smooth pudding and would have preferred to pick them out if I could’ve.Overall a fantastic experience with delicious food and a must try for anyone visiting Auburn!
