One of the best baklava I ever had… They have a great variety of baklavas. I had the pistachio roll and the handmade baklava and they were just awesome… The girl at the counter was very nice and polite. I would definitely come here again and again!!!
Mmm I’m just reminiscing of the Kunefe as i write this review.Had to stop by here 3 hours before a flight back home. Fantastic Baklava, Pistachio rolls, and Kunefe. I just ordered the basics as i don’t trust Nutella Baklava just yet. They even packaged it perfectly in Styrofoam so i could take it comfortably on the flight back home. No surprise that we all loved it back in Auckland. I wish they did overseas deliveries.
Been there 3 times in the last month and I’ve got a baklava addiction ha!Hubby and I never buy enough to accommodate for everyone we keep sharing them with . Super friendly service and will always come back for more with friends and family. Thankyou for making so many delicious things. Even our almost 2 year old loves them haha.
Yum!! Went in on a late evening after dinner nearby. Had the kunefe and some of the chocolate baklava – so Delish and I would def go back again. The girl at the shop let me taste before I bought which was really lovely too!
I’m drooling just thinking about eating these syrupy packages of delight. Zeki the boss loves what he does because his sweets are full of flavour and goodness – ok I’m not sure if they are healthy but they are packed with delicious pistachios and nuts that will send your senses spiralling. Definitely a lot more syrupy than Lebanese sweets but also lighter and softer in texture which is addictive and emotional… I can’t wait to go back.
The best baklava in Sydney. So I’m a bit of a baklava afficionado, love eating it & making it. Stumbled across Gaziantep bakery and got a $10 sample of a few of their different baklavas. Hands down, easily the best baklava I’ve ever had, and quite cheap too! For my $10, I got at least 15 pieces, although I didn’t count.A few doors up is another awesome baklava specialist baker, the difference I found is that Gaziantep have a moister, more syrupy texture. The other joint (Baladna) makes a great baklava too but it has a drier texture, maybe a tad nuttier and heavier on the rosewater just a bit. I prefer Gaziantep, others may like Baladna. Gaziantep is named after the Turkish town famous for its Baklava. I’m going back for another fix soon!
Mia. Found this great Turkish sweets shop in auburn across the station Gaziantep sweets apparently means a town in turkey where baklava is famous for. I have to say its a must go and try I loved the pistachio baklava and they had the chefs working in the back where you could see getting made! very interesting and friendly service.I will be definitely going there again for my next party
