Have visited this place a lot of times. If you want to have food in a budget which tastes good as well, this is the place. They serve complimentary pickled olives and veggies with bread.Towards the end, they serve jasmin tea which is also on the house.Must try the veggie platter.

Kabseh Fish : GreatMixed Plate : Amazing Fattouch : Amazing Service : GreatBeautiful food and great service. You can smell the deliciousness of the food from outside. Absolutely loved the meats on the mixed plate. Everything was cooked perfectly and some meats even had that smoky taste to it. Tabouli was a little sour for us but still paired well when eaten with everything else.

More of a 3.5! Service was okay, waiters were prompt but not so welcoming which was a little disappointing. The food was okay as well. It isnt as good as some of the Arabian food Ive had, but it isnt too bad. I ordered the mixed platter and everything on it was delicious, the only down fall was the tabouleh which was way too sour! The falafel in particular was mouthwatering so I definitely recommend that! The kabneh fish was good and we all really enjoyed that. I also really enjoyed the complementary tea offered at the end of the meal, it acts as a really good cleanser .

Nice restaurant. It was packed at 5 in the evening. The staff who served us was very friendly and prompt. The food was good, right from the bread, pickles and dips served complimentary to the main course. The meats were juicy and perfectly cooked. The breads were good. The vegetarian was good too.

Jasmin1 features in a number of blogs and articles as the top 10 Lebanese places in Sydney. So one does attach a lot of expectation to it. I find myself a little bit of an expert when it comes to food from the Middle East. Reason is that I have eaten the styles mostly everywhere I have gone including Jeddah, Dubai, Turkey, Brisbane, Melbourne, Riyadh, India, Lebanon, Oman, Jordan – you get the picture ! However Jasmin1 was disappointing. Everything looked great, looked fresh, packaging was great, but everything had this excessive lemony flavour to it. We ordered practically everything there was as the occasion was a large-ish get together at home. The only thing that was spared this excessive lemon lemon flavour was the biryani. The food felt like that it has been prepared and then the chef had taken a bottle of lemon juice and put two or three huge tablespoons in everything. So eventually everything tasted the exact same. Isnt that fun !

Food quality 4.5/5Taste 4.5/5Service 4/5Variety 4/5Value for money 4/5Quantity 5/5Ambience 3.5/5Ive always liked Lebanese food, but this place is like truly Lebanese. I loved the meshawi mixed plate that had kebabs/kofte .. personally I lived the one with chicken. The staff is extremely polite and sweet. Even though I bothered then quite a few time, they answered each of my questions very well and helped me place my order.I ordered the fatteh which was chickpea and yogurt. I like the taste but it was a little less spicy for my taste. The falafel was amazing and very filling.Mind you their portion size is large and do not order too much food at once becauEe you might end up taking it home for dinner! My favourite was the garlic sauce that they served along with. It was just the best thing! For dessert I had baklava and I was surprised to see they had ladies finger baklava as well! Their cinnamon tea is free for the first round and tastes great with the baklava.Overall, my experience was fabulous and I’m definitely going back for a gorgeous shawarma asap!
