One of the best places , if ONLY you are a biryani fan. Tasty, spiced up well and flavoured biryani, with good portions of meat and handsome serving size. Another plus point is a good pricing.Rest some items in the menu are hit and others are average. Flavourful barbeque and seekh kababs too.Seating is a bit congested though but still good enough to accomodate lots of people at once.

Ambience: Lots of place to sit. Nothing grand but given the price range it’s a winner.Food: Being a biriyani addict i just ordered the chicken biriyani right away. The biriyani was dhum style. High on flavours and spices that were ground to form the masala. The rice was well cooked and the biriyani had three kinds basmati long grain . One strongly flavoured, second milder and lastly at the top white rice. Chicken was cooked well and it was piping hot. I did feel the oil was a little more than required. It’s not among the best but close to what we can associate to so worth a try. This biriyani is not for the faint hearted. Lol

Too good to be called a Pakistani Biryani. However, everything else sucker at this huge hall place .. Sitting area is no problem at all… Plenty of seats.. The staff seems unaffected by your presence and don’t bother enough to respond. Ordered the famous biryani and got it as is. No other plates were given to eat from neither was glasses provided to drink water. The quantity of biryani was very low as compared to other competitors

If youre a Sydney-sider and you havent been to Auburn on a food adventure yet, you absolutely should. Student Biryani is a classic example of some of the delicious food you can experience in Auburn.I have been dying to try Student Biryani for such a long time as a huge lover of biryani and more generally, Pakistani food. Student Biryani is an international chain and its name if I had to guess, probably comes from the fact that the serves are huge and the prices are inexpensive, making it highly suitable for students. There are combo meals with not only the famous biryani, but also fried chicken (with the menu actually not looking too dissimilar to KFC in aesthetics!), curry and more. My dining companion and I had the Meal 8 which included a small chicken biryani, half a chargha (fried chicken), fries, a dinner bun, raita (a yoghurt cucumber dip), salad and 2 cans of soft drink. All for the low low price of $21.All in all, I loved the biryani with all of the spices and the tender chicken. The fried chicken was a tad dry but well marinated and to be honest, in a very large meal with a lot of carbs, the dinner roll was a bit unnecessary. But going back to that biryani, I would come back for that time and time again The curry-like chicken that is hidden under that mountain of rice is so flavoursome and so so soft….For the full review imhangry.net/2018/11/04/student-biryani-auburn/

Finally had the real Mughlai/Pakistani biryani, sheek kabab and chicken tikka in Australasia. Not exactly fine dining but brilliant and authentic Mughlai food. If you are Indian (from the north/east) or Pakistani in Sydney and craving this type of food, do yourself a huge favour and check this place out.
