It was a great feeling I had all my life when I came to Vatan with my friend Mr Jim Brunzell who is a great athlete, great high jumper. It was a great feeling when I tried their Persian kabob as it taste like the real kabob like in Tehran, Iran the oldest country in the world. Vatan was so busy the night we came, it was like being in Madison Square Garden. Other than that, everything was just great.
They used to have a good customer service and food before. I’ve tried there few times recently and I don’t recommend it.Food is not well cooked and the atmosphere there isn’t nice and friendly
Good food great service. The true person hospitality comes out at this restaurant. After spending years in the middle east I was missing some good persian food and hospitality. Walk in and enjoy. Simple decor which adds to the ambience.
Great local, fluffy mounds of rice and perfectly charred meat!. Im surprised at the low review for this place. Its usually a busy place filled with locals, the decor is non existent, the service was sweet and fast. The food i absolutely loved, $12 will get you a huge plate of fluffy basmatic rice with a dollop of butter and your choice of meat. On this occasion we had the chargriled chicken which had a beautiful zingy marinade, and the lamb shank hidden under a pile of dill pillaf. The rice comes out steaming hot, my lamb shank was so tender, and the complimentary bread with mint and onions, was a welcome side to dip into my lamb brother on the side.
My wife and I used to eat our lunch every Saturday in Vatan restaurant(The more formal one).Actaully what brought us there was notonly the qualified food but also great customer service from a beautiful lady with hijab.I was away for around one year and again I was there with whole my family this time.Unfortunately there wasnot that great customer service representative there, nor that delicious food.
