A nice cafe that was busy which is located as you might guess, on the corner of Roseberry Street and Balgowlah Road. Nearly all the tables were taken both outside and in. There seemed to be quite a queue of people waiting and you need to find a table first if dining in (or head to the counter to order for takeaway). Theyll come and take your order once seated. Service was excellent here and very friendly. Found a seat at the large communal table in the centre of the dining room. Water brought over immediately and drinks menu was handed over. I ordered a Belgian Chocolate Mocha. The server explained that they were in the middle of the crossover between breakfast and lunch and it might be about a 10 minute wait before the lunch menu brought which I was fine with. My mocha was brought over shortly after ordering and it was delicious. They also have their own coffee roasting company. Enjoying my beverage, the food menu was brought out. I decided on an all day brekky item of Basil Pesto Eggs. Made a great choice as the soy & linseed bread is by Mrs Jones The Baker and the bacon by Richards Meats. Great to see them using local vendors. The pesto had a nice punch of flavour to it and the eggs were softly poached giving them a wonderful runny yolk. Bacon was crisp on top of oozy provolone cheese. Wonderful cafe and definitely would like to try again.

I got my big breakie with scrambled eggs and turkish bread. Food was great, as it claimed all meat brought from locals, service was a bit slow , fairly friendly. Nothing special about the ambience, outside and inside seats available.Price is not cheap, $22 for this bastard, but for the quality of food, might worth it. FYI Sunday charge is 10% on the top of your bill.

The food is fantastic here, as well as the roast coffee. The only downside is that the staff can be quite rude and disinterested. Given the level of service, I prefer grabbing takeaway.

I was quite disappointed when we arrived before all these other tables but we were never asked for drinks or anything. After the waitress took everyone’s order the wind blew her in our direction and she took our order. Didn’t seem happy to be there. She might just have had a bad day but that’s not a good look for paying customers. Coffee was ok but the burger was not. Too soggy and sloppy.

Love this place. Coffee is great, service is friendly, after a few orders the staff remember your coffee order. They roast in house and there’s always a new blend to try.
