I highly do not recommend visiting this place. The staff are very rude, highly unprofessional and make you feel unwelcome from the moment you step inside. Avoid.
I called this place to make a reservation and was told they only accept walk in’s. Upon arriving to Manly, I called to check if they have spaces available inside and was told to come and they will get it sorted. Upon arriving, I was met with a hostess who looked at us in a non-approving manner and said that she can only seat us outside. Considering that the wind affect my Mum, I refused and asked if we can sit on the free big table at the centre of the place. To my surprise, I was told that the table was booked. I then questioned the hostesse’s claim and advised that I called to book and was told they don’t take booking, how come that table was booked, all to no answer. I also advised that I called a few minutes prior and was told to make the walk and they will sort a table inside. It was evident from the way the hostess looked at us in her non-approving manner that racism played a part in how we were treated. A male colleague came and was even worst. I highly do not recommend this place. Unprofessional, poor attitude and racist.

This place trades on its location. Besides that the service was very poor and unfriendly, they charge a cake fee of $7 per person for a cake I bought myself and they surcharge Amex ! I was so excited to go there but won’t be back after the experience.
Beautiful setting and ambience, very attentive staff. We are so glad to see the pavilion open again, albeit in the guise of The Bistro at Manly Pavilion.The menu was very good, the wine list a little spare (a bit disappointed with only an Australian Prosecco), and overall the food was good but slightly overpriced…
