Really lovely. Friendly fun staff, impressive modern Australian menu, quick service, nice outdoor dining area with options on the patio or under a shady tree on the grass. I had the seared scallops with cauliflower puree, chat potatoes and beetrot. Delish and came out very quickly too. Topped off with a very nice cappuccino.

a great place for breakfast. Â service is fast and attentive. Â the surroundings are lovely with big pine trees providing lots of shade to the grassy lawn area. Â Hubby and I often eat here on a weekend when staying in Ballina. Â The usual suspects are on the menu – eggs Benny, omelettes, croissants, pancakes, smoothies, juices etc. Â Hubby loved his stack of blueberry pancakes; he said they were light and fluffy. Â He poured on the entire wee jug of maple syrup; the waitress even offered him more! Â We were impressed. Â My eggs benny were as you would expect, with 2 nicely poached eggs, runny just the way I prefer. Â I had a spicy tomato juice which was indeed spicy – yum! Â tho perhaps a tad expensive at $6.80!? Â They do breakfast and lunch Wed to Sun, and also do functions. Â A great spot for brekkie or lunch; plus you can pop into the Gallery which is in the same building and check out the local art.
