Bought takeaway breakfast from here today. This cafe is a nice comfy place with nice and helpful staff.Coffee was strong and smooth, didn’t turn sour even when it cools down slightly.Got the pumpkin, feta and spinach muffin, it was really delicious! Very moist and soft. Many chunky pumpkins in the muffin. The sweet pastry and cakes looks absolutely delicious. Will come back to get a slice of those tarts in the fridge.

Upbeat and friendly staff greet you as you step inside this cosy little cafe located on Darling Street. A bounty of delectable baked things fill the front counter display including muffins, cupcakes, slices and cakes. The vanilla slice was obviously popular as there was nothing left but flakes of pastry. Fairly fast service for takeaway coffee.

Great coffee, amazing cakes and muffins.Breakfast is always super busy and wait time for breakfast can be 30min.. the food isn’t that amazing that you would want to wait for that long.Still go there for cake and coffee but Sunday morning brekkie I’ll have somewhere else.

Amongst the trendy cafes of Balmain, this bring a touch of the classics. With a solid menu made well, some of my favourites over all the visits includes perfectly poached eggs, creamy scrambled eggs, avocado on toast & a decadent French toast. Coffee is great & staff are friendly. There is also a cabinet full of cakes like a good old fashioned vanilla slice, NY cheesecake or a simple cupcake.

Coffee here was perfect. I hardly ever drink it these days but it was good to have a delicious, smooth, strong cup the rare moment that I do.Caf Berlin definitely has more of an old school vibe as opposed to the more trendy recent cafes. You can tell right away from the dcor and the menu. Some people may prefer this, some people may not. The negative is there arent many options catering for dietary requirements, but as is the case with anywhere else, you can try and make it work for you wherever you go.They have a house made baked beans dish which was delicious. Considering it was just beans, egg, and toast I did feel it was a little pricey but taste of the beans was spot on.Avocado and spinach was okay, but not something I would order again. The balsamic glaze didnt do much for the dish, and as a whole was something I could have at home. Plus side was the amount of spinach was very generous.Overall, definitely worthwhile stopping by for coffee if youre a drinker.

Absolutely appalled by what I witnessed this morning at this cafe. There was a bit of the wait for the food, mine took 40 mins to arrive. Coffee was quick and excellent as always. Food was a breakfast. Nothing too much can go wrong. A lady sitting with a group was disgruntled and let the owner know. What happened next had everyone in the cafe listening..The owner told her if she wanted quick food she should go to Macdonalds. Proceeded to tell her that there were two chefs and they had to cook everything from scratch. Her tone and attitude was appalling for someone who owned a hospitality business. Lady, your customers pay your bills. If you don’t want to deal with people, don’t own a cafe. I usually like going there, but don’t intend to go back. If that’s the way the owner deals with complaints, if I ever have a complaint, I clearly won’t get my voice heard.

Simply layout, you certainly wouldn’t go here for the Fitout BUT the coffee is great and the food is AMAZING!! I mean home baked treats and wholesome pies. Well worth going out of your way for this
