Fathers Day family dinner at Efendy. A cosy restaurant in Balmain and a lovely environment to be in on a cold bight. Fireplaces created nice ambience. The service was consistent with its sister restaurant Anason – friendly, attentive, professional, educational, personal. Must try the beetroot salad, kanafeh, the eggplant and pistachio dip, hommus, the lamb!
Wow what a night. Booked an outdoor table and with a slight breeze and shade from the late sun it was like being in a meditteranean courtyard. Had a few drinks to start and then amazing food including fava (broad bean paste), prawns, calamari, spiced lamb pastry, lambs testicles, chargrilled eggplant with 3 cheeses, lamb pie, barramundi all washed down with Turkish beer and wines. Fantastic night with friends. Restaurant let us stay longer than our 2 hr sitting and staff were fantastic. 5 star and want to return asap.
