  Fresh, quality ingredients are what I look for in a pizza and this place delivers on that promise. Newly opened in Balmain, the have all your traditional classic pizza favourites, plus a range of gourmet and even vegan pizza toppings in addition to offering gluten free bases. Using a family traditional recipe, the pizzas were not greasy at all, I was extremely impressed with the quality. I will note that although my pretence is for wood fire oven pizza, the quality of ingredients on these pizzas is excellent. We ordered the following:Supremo traditional pizza – ham, pepperoni, bacon, cabanossi, mushroom, fresh capsicum, Spanish onion, kalamata olvirs, oregano and mozzarella. This one had the lot, you could really taste the quality of the ingredients, it wasn’t too cheesy and was packed with a good balance of meat and veg.Boccocini gourmet pizza – boccocini, tomato, fresh basil, oregano, mozzarella – topped with pesto. This pizza was a flavour bomb! I’ve not had pesto before on pizza, the fragrant and sweet herbs of the pesto together with the fresh boccocini worked so well together. Greek salad – for $12, this is a generous portion size, filled with fresh ingredients and a touch of balsamic dressing.Nutella and strawbrrry pizza, baked fresh, there is nothing like Nutella and strawberries together! The perfect sweet ending to a meal.Overall, a fantastic meal, I thoroughly enjoyed the fresh pizzas made with love and fresh produce. I loved the open kitchen so you could watch all the pizza action.   Pizza and Co is a newly opened pizza bar in Balmain and we were excited to be invited by the owners to dine their last week. Although the pizza isn’t your traditional Italian pizza, it’s just as good. I loved the Bocconcini Pizza which was topped with pesto (pictured). It was fresh and delicious and tasted just as good the next day, heated up in the microwave. The pizza bases are not too thin nor thick and you are not overwhelmed with too many ingredient toppings. The amount of topping they put on their pizza is just right.It’s not just pizza at Pizza & Co. They also serve bruschetta (pictured), garlic bread, pasta and salads. It’s the cutest little pizza bar with the loveliest service! #pizzandco
