When Helen Cake Shop closed down, it was really sad I been eating their food ever since I was a kid. It was really hard to find someone similar until I try the cake from this store, omg it tasted the same that spongy moist cake with their yummy frosting. Ever since I been getting their cakes, cream bun and savoury bites. Also its cheap and affordable. Paid cash only.
Nice bread/cake shop located in Bankstown plaza. They have a good selection of the Asian style sweet and savoury breads. Also a good range of cakes that is quite competitively priced. They have a cake with a watermelon slice in the middle (very similar to the black star pastry cake), but at $38 it is not cheap. However it beats going out to Newtown to get it. Other cakes are more affordable, and also quite good. The Japanese cheese cake is very nice. They also have a range of custom designed cakes with lots of interesting designs, but I have not tried those
Yummaye! Their pineapple custard bun is nice and soft. For only $1.8, its a good snack to have on the go. Their egg tarts are also very good value. 8 for $5.2!
