Clean area within the sports club. We ordered churros for two and a churro bowl that wasnt very good. The new dish was nothing amazing, the icecream had set the churros to pretty much freeze. This ruined the texture… a few slices of bananas and strawberries topped with whipped cream – stick to your classic churros.

Staff was friendly. We got the Easter churros basket which was $15. It consisted of icecream, melted chocolate and caramel drizzle topped with chocolate eggs and a bunny. I’d rather stick to original churros as this was overly sweet. Cuppucino ($4) was just average. Overall cost of this was around $20.

I love the beverages here, I love how I can access it just in the process of shopping. Convenient and quick access. The service was okay, quick but not much chatter which was okay by me

Service here was okay. The food was good and it came out relatively quickly as the place wasn’t that busy. Went here during lunch so it was relatively quiet. Good to see that the guys have a new menu.

Visited here with friends on Sun 11th Jun for dessert and the cafe was super packed with long queue to the cashier. Whilst lining up to order, I did notice some amazing-looking ice cream sundaes on the counter, which sat there for some time (5+ minutes) before they were picked up and served to customers – this should have been the first warning sign. When we made our churros order (double churros for 2), we were advised that there was a 30min wait for churros, which we accepted at the time of payment but the wait ended up being over 45min.After a long wait, we were served our churros and we asked the staff member if she could clear and clean the table that we were sitting at, which was still filled with the dishes from the previous customer from 20min ago. She just plonked the two plates of churros among dirty dishes – causing a churro to drop onto the table – and walked away without any form of apology… never to be seen again. We followed up with another staff member about cleaning our table, but she was very busy serving customers so in the end, one of my friends walked to the kitchen area to ask for a tea towel so we could clean the table ourselves. The same staff member caught him near the kitchen area and quickly came back to our table to help clean and clear the tables – all whilst holding an ice cream cone in her left hand (talk about multi-tasking to the max). When we advised her that the previous staff member dropped the churro on the (dirty) table, she subsequently tried to put the now-dirty churro back onto the plate of churros to our utter shock… but then took it away and returned with (hopefully) another churro (complete with ice cream smear) on a plate and apologised to us for the mishap. Overall experience was disappointing. They were clearly under-staffed across the board and couldn’t cope with the high customer demand. As for the churros themselves, surprisingly they were still relatively warm when we finally got to eat them. Although they tasted like the usual ones I’ve had at the Chatswood branch, the size and colouring of the churros were inconsistent.

Thought the lighting is bleak, this place is much more inviting during the day. The staff and friendly and service is prompt. We ordered hot raw cacao and stuffed churros. They were hot and delicious.Ample seating and a little blackboard play area in the back.

Located in Bankstown Sports, San Churro will satisfy anyone’s dessert craving. Churros are the go to – dipped in chocolate they are irresistible . The filled churros are also popular with either chocolate or caramel inside. My favorite was the chocolate dipped strawberries and the funnel cake. There really is something for everyone and it’s a great way to finish the night with a hot drink and some delicious dessert
