Came here to have a hu tieu, this place does a great traditional hu tieu! Tasty broth and plenty of meat with it,the prawn crackers are hard to find these days. All that’s missing is the Quail egg. The tea is insanely tasty as they brew it with Pandan leaves. Every meal comes with a bowl of fresh chillies too!

Hu Tieu is a what I see as a Vietnamese version of Thai Boat Noodles. We ordered both the Hu Tieu soup and dry version. Both were very nice. The key to a good Hu Tieu is that the broth should be clear, rich and tasty. The broth was clear and had a good balance of sweet and salty. They thick sauce in the dry version was not overly sweet and very tasty.

For a Vietnamese restaurant that specialises in Hu Tieu (Clear Rice Noodle), there is absolutely nothing special about the dish compared to other restaurants that does not specialise in it. Their Signature Combination Clear Noodle Soup (forgot to take photo) is very average, the noodles were over cooked but the soup was nice and flavourful, just a tiny bit too salty for me. Their dry version of the Seafood Clear Noodle was below average. Noodles were again over cooked, therefore tasted very soggy and it came with a gravy on top which was different from other Hu Tieu that I’ve tasted. I don’t like it. Won Ton Dried Egg Noodles was also below average. Won Tons were tiny and did not have much fillings. Service is friendly. Overall

I stand for the ever consistent dish of clear glass noodles stirred with a yummy flavoured sauce and seafood. It uplifts, it is tasty and it looks good. A staple for me for many years whenever I visit this place! The prawns, fish and other ingredients are fresh. Service is quick.
