  I went to Anason on a summer weekend in Feb 2018 and the vibe was awesome. The blue umbrella setting by the waterside was a perfect place for girlfriends to catch up over share food and quality wines and mock tails. The service for me was a real standout – friendly, attentive, professional. The staff were happy to share their knowledge about the menu and to make personal recommendations when we needed help with choices. This experience enabled to appreciate Turkish food and understand the breadth of it (past Turkish coffees and desserts!!).

  I think personally since I had the aunthentic Turkish food it is a little bit different in taste. I dont mind the concept, it looks pretty and appetizing but the taste was quite average for me. The duck borek was reallly crunchy but the inside was very dry. We also ordered a one more dish thats not in the picture which is the beef. I think the combination of the element was weird. My favorite would be the smoked salmon

  Modern Turkish never tasted so good, set along the waterfront you are spoilt with views. The staff and service was exceptional and attended to our every need.If theres a down side it would be the servings could be a little more for what you pay

  The six of us had a great time here on a cold, rainy Sydney night. One of our guests was about to leave as she was not sure that she could deal with the cold draught whipping through this covered but outdoors restaurant at Barangaroo. However, before we knew it staff had brought more heaters and soon we were taking jackets off. This was just the beginning of the fantastic service. We couldnt decide on the wine so we were offered several tastings. 5 of us wanted one bottle but one guest wanted a different one, so they presented her with her wine choice, on the house. That wasnt all we got on the house: a great fattoush salad, pita bread and eggplant also arrived. I think this was to make up for either a minor mess up with our order; the wait for our second courses seemed to be a bit long. I tipped over my wine but didnt break the glass, but two waiters were at my side with clean serviettes before I could even blink. The hospitality was so generous, that by the end of the night we wondered if there was even going to be a bill! The food was delicious. The wine was delicious. The service was a cut well above usual standards.
