The crab spaghettini was tasty. The Tasmanian salmon was well cooked but plain in flavour. We did not understand why they didnt come with sides, you have to purchase sides separately. the green beans side is literally a bowl of half cooked beans, was not a fan. Also didnt like the bannofee pie but Ive never tried that before so it couldve just been me?
Enjoyed the food , cocktails and views from this restaurant, they have fresh fish specials of the day and the a la carte menu is pretty good as well. A great range of seafood dishes particularly different dish along with tasty sides. Its a great place for a special occasion or date or brunch with friends. Love this place!
Fantastic indoor/outdoor setting with a beautiful view but unfortunately, the food was an average affair for me. The fish, while fresh, tasted bland. I guess on a positive note, it was not salty and not too oily. Service is excellent. Normally, I would say it is overpriced for fish and chips but considering the area, the prices are actually on par if not better.
Loved it. From the time we arrived (without a booking ) we were quickly seated with a smile. A flurry of waiters ensured we had menus and a drink ordered pronto! Shared Entrees if squid and salmon cakes were lovely, and our mains were fresh and beautifully cooked. Twice cooked chips and pear and rocket salad were the perfect accompaniment. Cold wine and beer, sitting in the sunshine made of visit one to remember. Thank you to David for being the perfect host!
As the name of the restaurant suggests, this is a place for the fish lovers. I really liked the sea urchin taramasalata and the grilled kingfish fillet which was cooked with a crispy skin. As a side, the polenta chips were also delicious but I think next time, ordering something green as well would make for a more balanced accompaniment. Definitely stay for dessert as the banoffee pie was really delicious and not too sweet. Generally Im not one for a banana dessert but this was actually a really great dish and perfect way to end the meal. Service was great and Im happy to come back again!
Located in the pristine location at Barangaoo, this place ticks all the boxes when it comes to location, food, ambiance, service and most importantly, spectacular food. The Salmon Was as fresh and tasty as it can be paired with a crisp and not overly sweet, glass of Ros. Their menu is reasonably cheap when it comes to ordering fish, however i highly suggest to order some sides as the dish itself only comes with the fish itself. I could eat here everyday!
Located in The Streets of Barangaroo, this venue would be a great choice if you love seafood. With fancy decor, relaxing ambience and delicious food, I recommend you to pay a visit.I came here for Sunday lunch with my family. I really loved their Crab Spaghettini (even though I couldnt really taste the chili as mentioned on the menu). The NZ Hake Fillet and Wild Qld Spanish Mackerel Fillet were fresh and great too. For the side we chose shoestring fries and they were quite crispy. Every main doesnt come with a side so you need to take that into account when ordering food.
