Nice outdoor seating. Fairly extensive selection of whisky. Had a lovely Semillon with the pan fried snapper for lunch. This place seems a local favorite, it was pretty busy but had a nice casual vibe.
Came here with friends on a Friday evening. Good Cocktails and interesting wine list, had a lovely organic orange wine. Bar food menu was great to share amongst us. Venue is very busy for after work drinks.
Havent eaten here but I have given it a go for coffee a number of times. And the results… not the best, tbh. $4.20 for their version of a large coffee (equivalent to a medium elsewhere) would be easier to swallow (pun intended) if the coffee wasnt so bad. I have been here a dozen or so times in the last 3 months and the coffee is always bitter, so not just a one-off. Plenty of other places in the Barangaroo precinct with better tasting, fairer priced coffee. Give this one a body swerve.
Fantastic place – great coffee and food. Service was spot on. Would recommend to give it a try. Had the ultimate breakfast burger and it was fantastic
Green breaking bowl – really nice and fresh and heaps of it! $19 service is great here and they mix up the menu. Coffee is good as well and so are the crossaints
Quick drink here whilst in the area. Huge whisky selection including a large number of Australian craft whisky on offer. Hubs opted for the Chivas 18 special which is served in hand crafted glasses and paired with a selection of chocolate, dried apricot and liquorice. I had a glass of Mumm. The staff were particularly good. Light hearted and fun without being OTT.
Ordered the whiskey beef bao for my Mealpal lunch which isn’t on the normal lunch menu but appears on the dinner one, so I’ve been told. The slider-sized buns were stuffed with plenty of tender beef that had been cooked in a slightly sweet, very delicious marinade. The soft, fluffy buns were the perfect vehicle to showcase it. Garnished with coriander, chili slices and sriracha mayo, these baos were a delight to eat. I might not be a fan of the coffee but would return for the food!—Previous visit—My takeaway coffee was well-made but I wasn’t a fan of the beans. It was a dark roast that was on the bitter side but that’s personal preference.
