We arrived exactly upon opening at midday and walked the stairs up to the rooftop where Smoke is located in Barangaroo House. The views are lovely and we able to choose where we wished to sit, and service was attentive and quick. We only had a couple of drinks before our lunch reservation at Bea below, however we were able to seamlessly have our bill transferred down to Bea without needing to pay twice with card. I ordered the yuzu martini and the dawn fizz. Both excellent (and noticeable booze hit) cocktails. Hubs ordered a few starward whiskys and I was pleasantly surprised they had such an affordable Australian craft whisky on offer, most fine establishments only ever seem to have Lark or Sullivans Cove which are excellent but they get a bit pricey after a few. Will definitely return to sample the food on offer at Smoke, what came out for other patrons looked delicious
Nice rooftop bar. We didnt wait long for our orders, maybe because it was a Sunday midday, however from my experience, many places would make you wait for centuries for your order even youre the only one guest in there))) so we had a god experience. We loved its warm welcoming staff. Interesting drink and delicious tapas. Will definitely go back on Thursday night to enjoy some life music and cocktails with a spectacular views.
