Frequently eat at Millones and can confidently say they have above average food. Came here last Friday night with my friend and had an up&down experience. I ordered the steak and she ordered the chicken bosciaola which was recommended by the waitress. Omg… my steak was cooked medium-rare to perfection. Too many places cook my steak medium when i ask for medium rare but I was so impressed here. It was tender, literally fell apart and had so much flavour. You know a steaks top quality when you dont even need a sauce with it. Hands down the best steak Ive ever had, falling only very shortly behind the steaks at Steer Steakhouse in Melbourne. My friend enjoyed her chicken dish too. For dessert we ordered a Nutella pizza to share – generous amount of strawberries compared to most places who put 1 in the middle. I actually found the chicken dish quite dry, perhaps because I was comparing it to my soft fall-apart steak. The Nutella pizza was disappointing, Ive never had pizza here but the base was horrible, tasted like cardboard. Also, Our food took at least a good hour to come. Although it was a friday night, we came at 8pm and it was fairly quiet so we waited a while considering. Food: 3.5/5Presentation: 3/5Service: 2/5Location: 3/5
All the food we ordered was delicious and very fresh. We asked to sub the chicken from the chicken pesto pasta with veggies and they happily agreed, added a plentiful variety of vegetables and even reduced the price without us asking. Staff were really nice and friendly.
