Came here with a group of friends for breakfast. We ordered a few different dishes including some more fresh with museli and yogurt, and others traditional with bacon and eggs. Everyone was satisfied with their meal, and the service was friendly and quick. I can at times be a coffee snob, and I was disappointed when I saw Vittoria being served, but it wasn’t too bad, so kudos to the barista!
Came here for dinner. Service was friendly and casual but the food made you ponder wether an ill programmed robot was churning out the orders. First up the entrees: bruschetta – which often is very hard to screw up was soft and cold, one would expect it be grilled warm and slightly crisp; no redemption found with the calamari and meatballs either – with the former chewy and the latter merely luke warm. For mains it was pasta and risotto, which defied probabilities to be worse than the entrees. All of us at the table agreed that none of them had any flavour and left most of it on the plate. At least it was BYO, and we weren’t restrained from drinking our ourselves full. Rating 1.5/5 as service is friendly but what good is it, if the food isn’t edible.
Driving home from a Northside drop off , popped in for a quick bite. Was worried with the lack of customers inside, but I wasn’t dissatisfied with the food. The fish burger was what I was expecting, came with nicely seasoned salad leaves and crispy fries – fish tasted very fresh. Also the homemade tartare sauce is deserving of extra points, tasted great. If I’m ever back up here, will happily come again.
Maureen and Phil Carson had breakfast here it was delicious 🙂 very relaxing atmosphere would recommend it very friendly staff 🙂 complements to the chef Tony
We had breakfast this morning and it was well below expectations. The hash brown was burnt on the outside and raw potato in the middle. You just don’t serve that. The beans were so bland and the tomato was also raw. This was an extraordinarily poor attempt at cooking breakfast. It was such a shame given that it was our first time. Unless they hire a fair dinkum chef or at worst a short order specialist I would avoid this place. To top it off it was very expensive.
