The food was terrible. The Arancini balls were soggy and very garlic-y. We also ordered from ubereats a Nutella pizza that was appalling because it was so hard you couldn’t even bite down and the Nutella wasn’t even Nutella and it had brown pears and off bananas on top and it was even cold like they had just defrosted it. After all this, they refused to refund us, it was disgraceful. Do not go or order from there.

I’ve been looking for a nice local Italian restaurant. My husband and I went to this restaurant tonight for Valentine’s Day. There was nothing mentioned about Valentine’s Day set menu on their webpage or the booking site/Dimmi so we decided to cancel the other restaurant we’d booked and picked this one as we would have spent $69 each otherwise. But tonight when we went there they also had a set menu only available which was $80pp. We thought we’re there already and let’s give it a try anyway. That was a huge mistake. Quality of food was pretty average. Deep fried zucchini flowers tasted like they were fried twice, very greasy and heavy. Gnocchi was rather blend and soggy. Risotto tasted like something out of instant packet. Gelato was also a big disappointment. Ambience of the restaurant wasn’t too bad. And waiying staff were all good though. It seemed as if they had some issues in the kitchen. There were so many unhappy customers there this evening. Such a shame we dumped a possibly better choice in picking a restaurant on a special day and ended up paying more $$ for something that’s not even standard. I guess we can only try to find it out? I do hope that they’ll make some positive change to improve themselves. Otherwise I don’t see how this restaurant will still exist in a couple of years time.

Sad decline. We have gone to this restaurant many times over the years, and it was fabulous. The original owner Toni created a great restaurant. However the latest owner may have the same dishes but not the cooking skills. We realized there was a problem when the garlic bread arrived – wholemeal bread with butter melted on it, raw garlic and parsley, all cold! Main meals consisted of veal which was not cooked (raw inside the crumbs) and the risotto seemed like it had been reheated many times as the cheese was like hard chunks of rice and whole cloves of garlic were throughout the risotto (luckily my wife noticed these before getting a very big surprise) They also charged $10 for a bottle of mineral water! Quality and value is no longer there.
