Genuine family run local Chinese restaurant. Food is very much HK style. All dishes are freshly cooked. There will be chances that their quality of food may drop a little bit when they get a bit busy. It’s a popular place for takeaway, and also many HK people like to dine in this little local gem. I personally love this friendly restaurant as there aren’t many good Chinese restaurants like them in the area and their food is not bad. Also, just want to highlight that they do better with the food on their blackboard or chef special menu. While some of the dishes on their regular menu can be just average.
Service ok, as long as you know the owner. We’ve had take out from the Yummy Kitchens at Beecroft, and always been happy with the food. Dining in is another story – each time we do, we kick ourselves for every going back. This evening’s performance was the worst. We were the third table to arrive, and were followed by two large tables of people who clearly knew the owner/manager. Despite ordering before them, our food took ages to arrive and the other tables were almost finished before we even started. Our was by no means and isolated experience. A man from another table (who had arrived before us) had the same experience and remonstrated with the manager about it. Much bowing, scraping and offering of conciliatory fortune-cookes ensued. I kid you not.

The food was very good, definitely a cut above your usual chinese food, and the staff were lovely, so welcoming. If you go, try the sweet chilli king prawns on the Chef’s Recommendation part of the menu. Superb.

Beautiful. So were my expectations met? Absolutely!!! There was a wide selection of dishes. But the one i liked the most was the Salt and Pepper and Squid Shang Tong Chicken. Delicious! would recommend to anyone.
Loving Food. I always look for new places to eat, this place I have to put my thumbs up. Loved the yummy steak and peking pork ribs….Had a lovely night with the service too.
