The restaurant owner, Zac, is very kind and friendly and makes the establishment more inviting. The food is excellent and the presentation is great too. It would be nicer if the serving size was a bit more generous considering the price, especially for the Qabli Pilaf, but otherwise, the taste was wonderful. A nice waterfront location as well. Lovely authentic, traditional Afghani flavours.
You can never go wrong with Zac’s food…its just mind blowing and delicious…i have been coming here from last 2-3 years…this location started recently..they used to have 1 in hornsby..no matter which location….the taste havnt changed a bit…lamb biryani..is to die for…i alwz end up ordering whenevr i visit here…chapli kabab…goat qorma…and halwa…are mouth watering..and the list goes on…! thats not all..from the moment u enter …u witness the outstanding hospitality..and love from the owner zac and his team…words cants express how he has touched everyones heart..by his kind words and most importantly by his generosity and nature…! A must visit place ..if u wanna please your taste birds …! love it love it ..love it
My first time going here and my experience was overall a good one. Great food, good friendly service! I would highly recommend the chicken kebab.
Friendly service, great food, and very reasonable prices all combine here, to make this place stand head and shoulders above other restaurants in the area. I took my family here, which includes two Jurassic-level hungry teenage boys. We had a range of entrees and dishes, everyone was full to bursting, and we still left with a doggy bag, all for just over $30 a head. The tastes were sensational, and Zac himself is so friendly and personable… We’ll be back!
Best restaurant ever! The food is amazing, the service is fantastic. We happily drive 45 minutes just to eat here and it’s easily worth it. I’ve eaten here many times and never had a meal I didn’t love. Cannot recommend this place highly enough – eat here, you won’t regret it!
The food was great. Friendly staff. Loved Qaboli polo, big portions and tastes awesome. You’d love it if you like Persian and Afghan food. Reminded me of my grandma’s delicious cooking.
The food was refreshing as it was unique for the area. Great service and atmosphere for a Friday evening with three other couples. We have walked past on many occasions and there is usually many patrons. Would return, authentic afghani food.
