Regatta, Rose Bay has a beautiful view and a wonderful atmosphere and customer service. Complimentary salmon, bread and butter. Perfect for a special occasion. I booked a table right by the window. The food was delicious and rich in flavor. I ordered green beans which were a side as my entree. I also ordered the Rump Steak and the Risotto. I highly recommendall that I had ordered.Altogether, it was about $95 excluding drinks.
I really love this place. Wonderful restaurant. The Atmosphere and service are excellent. The menu does change often which is nice and the views out to the bay are really lovely, great for overseas visitors. There is s terrace area which is great for drinks or a small function. 4.5 stars from me.
Stopped by here for a quick drink and bite to eat on a hot Sunday afternoon. Wait staff are very welcoming . Fantastic location with beautiful views of the harbor. The crab and zucchini croquettes are really tasty.

Stunning location overlooking the water with attentive and warm service upon every visit. Perfect place for some cocktails in the late afternoon and beautiful appetisers. The tuna tartare cones were delicious and the crispy cones were beautiful contrast. The crab and zucchini croquettes were light, fluffy and tasty. At the time the cocktail list included an amazing version of a strawberry daiquiri that was amazing and even had some surprising popping candy inside the strawberry! Very impressed !
Great food but not cheap. Excellent location with a great atmosphere. Pre dinner drinks are a must for sundowners before going on a culinary experience
Very, very disappointing. My family went here after hearing that Bistro Moncur’s founder Damien Pignolet had taken over the kitchen as we were regulars at Moncur in Woollahra back in 90s and 00s.It occupies the building where 3-hat restaurant, ‘Pier’, was once situated and boasts a great view of the Rose Bay marina. Little has been done to renovate the interior – I can only imagine that the designers were going for a ‘rustic charm’ that was easy on the budget.I never really liked Pier, so part of me went in with low expectations (despite the restaurants bearing no relationship to each other). The food turned out to be European bistro-style fare at a 2-hat price point. The kingfish carpaccio was roughly cut and tasteless, the scallop souffle drowned in an overly pungent sauce, and the steaks all overcooked (they serve medium rare as medium to well-done here), blatantly defrosted and drenched in sauce. They couldn’t even get the vinaigrette for the salad right.I know it’s the holidays, but seriously – serving food like this for $110+ pp is just plain offensive. At least the waiter was polite and attentive.
