The tea was nice here but the service was very slow. The cornflake cookie with the melted marshmallow and chocolate chips was decadent though and worth a try.
Wow had the nourishing bowl and sweet potato fries to add in the bowl.. this was bloody amazingly delicious and as the name suggested nourishing!! I can only critique the service but it’s Bello so let’s all calm down and relax in this beautiful town. Off to the waterfalls now!
3.4Lunch stop today. This is a semi cute cafe in lovely Bellingen. After a quick look at the menu we esch quickly opted for the trout poke bowl which sounded lovely. We kept to our choice when we were told the trout was off and it was smoked salmon only instead. Locally smoked we were told with origin otherwise unknown. Salmon’s ok by me.The bowl was good and was well composed. It looked attractive on arrival and certainly tasted good. A combination of very well cooked brown rice, crispy beans, kimchi, carrot, ginger, lettuce, cucumber, avocado and sprouts, the flavours were a winner for me. Everything worked well together in this dish. My only issue was the size of the dish. It’s too small in my view and needs to be increased by a third to count as a proper serve.We were a little unlucky today. There was construction work underway next door. Workers. Circulars saws. Banging. The whole bit. Canvas up to screen the work. It happens. We didn’t let it concern us too much. the outdoor area of the cafe was fine despite the distraction.Service was nice throughout. Quite a good place overall. I’d happily return.
Great staff, better food. All aspects of breakfast here where superb.Great food, staff and coffee. Definatly check it out while in bellingen
Amazing breakfast. After having a few fairly average breakfasts in Bellingen, we came across this little gem. A wide choice of fantastic fresh juices (you can pick your own combinations) and beautifully light scrambled eggs with pesto and prosciutto. Possibly the best scrambled eggs I’ve had. The big breakfast was a generous size for a great price. Will be back again!
