A friend and I dropped into the golf club at Urunga for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and value. We each had a plate full (3) crumbed cutlets with salad and it was delicious
Lovely outlook, club is old fashioned but nice, the food has always been great and so has the staff.
We had three meals there during a recent stay in Urunga.By joining up was also got a discount on them.Two nights I ordered the lamb cutlets – once with vegetables, once with chips and salad – both were absolutely delicious.
Visited Urunga and happen to still be there at dinner time, decided on the .C. Ex Urunga had the snitty and the sidwinder fries very good hit the spot
Ordering Salmon with creamy mashed potato and vegetables, It was disappointing that the mashed potato was Deb mashed potato. The salmon was very nice but that was about all. The vegetables (broccoli, Cauliflower & carrots were very plain and tasteless.
Food terribly. Vegetables (what we got) were boiled to within an inch of their life. Steak not done to request. Gravy watered down and cost $2.20.
