Casual European eatery with the kitchen headed by Swiss chef Renato Silvestri. Renato endeavours to use the vast array of fresh local ingredients in his menus. The coffee served is Di Manfredi which has become a popular choice in Bellingen. The Fennel Seed has an alfresco area which has proved very busy & ideal to enjoy most of the year. Inside we have a casual seating arrangement with a long community table for groups. The deli counter provides items for the very popular German sausage plate & also the Ploughmans plate which is often ordered as a shared "grazing plate". The Fennel Seed opens evenings for group bookings with prior arrangement. Small functions can also be catered for. We provide a licensed venu with beers, wines & ciders available to enjoy.
