    Amazing! We dined here on a Saturday evening and everything was just perfect. The service was great, attentive and helpful and the food was10/10. We enjoyed every single bite of all the dishes we ordered! The gluten free desserts were particularly amazing as they seemed to be home style cooking and were far superior to many gluten free options at other restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

    This place definitely deserves more up to date and accurate ratings. Firstly, the place has a great view of Lake Macquarie. We were there on a Friday night and despite not having reservations and the place being quite busy, we were seated immediately and service was very friendly, nothing could be faulted. Same for the food – we had oysters to start, confit duck roulettes which were really well balanced with plum jam, and pulled lamb tacos of a classic but still delicious flavour, with fetta and dukkah. We also shared a plate of pork ragout with pasta and Parmesan, again really well balanced. The dessert was a highlight, with different textures of chocolate cremeux (salted which was interesting), flourless chocolate cake, and coffee crisp. The pricing was also really reasonable. Really enjoyed the whole meal, and everything else on their menu looked really appetising as well.

    My friends and I went to this eatery after a run at Lake Macquarie. We did not regret our choice and will endeavour to go back here when we’re all back in these neck of the woods! Everything we ordered was absolutely scrumptious to the T. I had the large peppered squid and the calamari was so delicious, soft and tender! It feels like it melts in your mouth. Their Mayo and chilli jam aren’t you standard ones. I say it’s better cause it added that tang to make the dish perfection! The salmon was the special of the day and it was made to a perfect crisp on the outside and the meat was so soft and delicious! When you come here, definitely order the sweet potato fries. That crispy crunch on the outside and the soft mash on the inside will make you come back for more. Fingers crossed we get more chefs like this in Sydney! Thanks Deck56! Amazing work guys.
