It feels like quantity over quality though my mixed plate compare with other Lebanese places looks small. The mixed plate is different here, only one dip instead of 2 and my lamb pieces were small. I can choose my salad and coleslaw was big in size but not in taste. The hummus tasted like supermarket stuff. Had a little chicken it had a tinge of lemon, better than your average BBQ chicken. Was expecting more
Not exactly Eljannah but it’s just as good with you’re typical options that won’t disappoint your appetite. Limited options but it’s still the best one before yo7 get to Punchbowl.
This place is highly recommended as they have some very good middle-eastern food and reasonable prices! I like to have a little fun by making my own wraps with some bbq chicken, pickles, chippies, tabouleh, and garlic sauce Nice plating, right?
The sandwich was burnt with old thigh & leg pieces witch remains cold even after it got toasted, the charcoal chicken was burnt to the point that I couldn’t eat some of it (all the chickens were coming off the spit like that), can’t under stand the good reviews this plays gets, & there is a take away price & a eat in price so choose wisely, ill never go back.
This tiny shop in the heart of busy, metropolitan belmore ( :/ )…. Is always a staple stop over for when I need a quick meal that is both full filling and not overly priced. The order is always the same – chicken, tabouli, Leb bread and they chuck in the famous garlic sauce too. I still stand by the FACT, that this meal is one of the best cures for a seedy hangover I have ever tried. (could do with the toxin absorbing charcoal theory of Bear Grylls). Take out is better as its not crash hot eating there, over hearing the workers go off at each other, or the local morons who travel in packs with obnoxious and rowdy behavior. Then again, it’s Belmore.
