A nice little Greek cake shop offering a variety of cakes, biscuits and various other Greek sweets.My fiance loves the custard they use for some of their desserts here and never fails to stop by this shop whenever we’re in Belmore.
The shop is very nice and has a range of cakes, biscuits and other sweets. I enjoy eating their cakes that have custard in them. Recently we purchased a custard basket which visually is very appealing. It contained a moist sponge cake, layers of custard and cream, peanuts, chocolate chips and cherries also added in. All of those layers were held together by a large filo pastry shaped like a basket and dusted with icing sugar. Normally their cakes have a perfect amount of sweetness to them, however, I found the basket to be overwhelmingly sweet after the second spoonful. There was a lot of elements in this sweet. (The syrup from the cake started to seep through the box after a couple of hours..)It is still enjoyable to eat (in super small portions). I’d go back to have their other cakes but not the basket.
Nice looking shop in belmore. I drive past everyday on the way to work and see it packed all the time. Went there to try the cakes out and was greeted by a friendly worker who knew the large assortment of cakes in detail. The cakes were beautiful especially the custard basket cake which i enjoyed. Definitely coming back
