Came here with a groupon voucher keen to try out some gelato but I was abit disappointed. I tested out the other gelato flavours especially the vanilla and it had a weird bitter taste. My partner and I opted for the strawberry and mango scoops in a cup. Both of these had a really strange gooey texture and was overly sweet. Not sure if Ill be back for the gelato here again.
Not sure if it was a recipe problem or a freezer issue, but the gelato was definitely lacking in that stiffness in texture. Was very soft/sloppy to the extent that a sample couldn’t be scooped with a paddle pop stick. Moreover the flavours were below average in choice and in taste. As it was just the one lady serving though friendly, she was quite busy and flustered, making coffee etc. and so it was slow. Wouldn’t return.

They have alot of flavours to choose from but it doesnt taste authentic, like they use alot of sweetener or some superficial flavouring. First time round i had pistachio and creme brulee. Second time i had watermelon and passionfruit. Service is friendly, location is good, but with so much competition around, i dont think i will come back.
The reviews of this place confound me, did I come on the best day they have ever had. I found both my flavours, chocolate and passionfruit to be authentic and not artificial tasting at all. The passionfruit was particularly real passionfruit flavoured and better than ones I have tried at well known chains. The chocolate was nice and dark. Found it very creamy.
I went looking forward to traditional Turkish icecream as I had read good reviews but unfortunately my trip to Belmore was a disappointment as they didn’t have any at the time and instead only had normal icecream which was bland and artificial tasting. However, the icecream shop had cool decorations and furniture- so probably the best thing about it. Would not go again.
