Tonight i went to the grange buffet in the st george leagues club. very disappointed. i really had high expectations, we paid $100.50 for the 4 which was reasonably priced, but didn’t get our money’s worth! the service… well there wasn’t any service! we had to find a table ourselves and it was typical buffet style. the food was horrible, flavourless prawns and oysters, the ice cream was horrible, the deserts in general were terrible. what they served wasn’t very nice, lots of chinese food and seafood, appalling salt and pepper prawns. i just didn’t have a good experience, also no sneeze guards and cold food! – TF
Cheap and cheerful. There was a big selection of not very appetising food. And was very rsl ish. But for about $15a head its about the same as going to a foodcourt these days. We didnt get food poisoning or anything. Defo not great, but is a cheap meal out.
This is the worst buffet I ever had in my life. The choice were limited and the hot food was not even hot. The hot food was include roast beef and roast pork, fried chips, chicken dimsim, pizza that was dry and cold. The prawn was placed in the bucket, the crab was barely any, the oyster was in the small plate and only can take one pp. Dirty dishes take so long to be taken away as only 2 people do it. Do not waste your money and your time.
Food isn’t the best, it’s luke warm and limited with ordinary flavours. It consisted of overcooked chicken nuggets, hot chips and spring rolls, dry garlic bread and roast pork and beef. Seafood seemed ok, the pasta was nice, but the dessert bar was iffy. Ice cream didn’t seem right with chunks in it. For a buffet, it’s not that big. Pretty much just 3 serving stations with 6 trays in each + the dessert bar with jelly, ice cream & toppings, mini brownies, etc. The vanilla custard looked like yellow water pretty much. Could’ve been worse, but I’ve been to way better.Service I can’t really fault. The guy at the counter was alright and they were swift in collecting the plates when we were done and ready to get more.Ambience is average, lots of asians and large people.Overall, I wouldn’t go back.

Was there last year i am a club member they have more this year and Really good value and alot of food paid $32.50 and my children ate free , i think it is under new management cause the staff are all different … The Grange Buffet food good . service reasonable its a buffet…. collected our plates and got us a high chair and helped mum out. kids and mum enjoyed it .
