Came here for something different for dessert. These loukoumades are best eaten fresh as they harden a lot afterwards which make it difficult to eat. Also very sweet so be sure to have someone else to share these with! However, there is a large range of toppings to choose from which is a plus.

If ever you are in the Beverly Hills area make sure to drop by Loukoumades! I can’t stop eating those little yummy donuts. I have been meaning to try it but always on the wrong time. They are only open at 6 pm onwards. And there are days that they are close. We visited it tonight – coz it’s Father’s day!! Because it is a special day, parking was seriously crazy. So had to order for take away. The place was packed too so getting a seat would be a problem. While browsing on what to order, I was so overwhelmed with all the toppings that goes with it. The lady at the counter (sorry I didn’t get her name) was really helpful. And patiently explained their best sellers and best options for what I would like to try.Since it is my first time to try the donuts, I opted with the classic and the sweet cheese. The classic is simply cinnamon and syrup. We didn’t eat it until we got home so the donut was no longer hot and the outer part was a bit tough to bite but it was still so syrupy good. Not too sweet. Just the right sweetness that would make you bite into another. The sweet cheese is actually way way better than the classic. Since, the donuts were drenched with the sweet cheese cream and topped with chopped pistachios, it was pillowy soft and chewy. I couldn’t stop eating it. Promise! It was that good.Aside from those yummy Greek heaven bites, they also serve milkshakes, Greek coffee and Greek tea like Cinnamon and Clove or the Aniseed. Very interesting. I might have to visit them again and try some of their signature drinks. mypostcardtrail.com
