Ordered spring rolls, cashew nut stir fry and satay chicken skewer. Spring roll good, cashew stir fry too hot. Asked for light chilli but was swimming in chilli flakes. Uneatable. Threw away….Chicken skewer was old chicken. Hard not tender. Threw away. Satay was black colour. Burnt oil pieces. Disgusting food for price. First and last time.
The food is terrible. I ordered (on EatNow) a chicken pad Thai, tofu/vegetable peanut noodles, and chicken satay skewers. Everything was dripping in oil, so much so that the plastic bag was leaking with it. The vegetables were mushy and nothing tasted fresh. I would not recommend this place to anyone. On the upside, the man who delivered the food was very nice.
Worst Thai food I’ve ever eaten and I have eaten A LOT of Thai food. I ordered the prawn laksa soup. It was so salty that I could not eat it. The prawns were incredibly overcook. They were basically rubber. There was nothing good about that laksa. My partner ordered the red duck curry with medium heat. It was not medium heat at all. It was so hot he could not even eat half of his plate. This dish was also very salty. I’m very disappointed. Would not recommend eating here
A close friend of mine recommended the Pad Thai there and so I gave it a try today and she was 100% right, it was beautiful! Definitely the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had and will be coming back for more to try more delicious things! If you know what’s great when it comes to food, then you should definitely come to Blacktown Thai! Also, customer service was also amazing. 🙂
Its under new management and the food is fantastic. Turn around time for food was quick. The spring roll and curry puff is perfect. Staffs are friendly and we definitely will return. Recommended.
Orderedd the penang chicken and pad sew yew .what can i say what beautiful dishes , the penang was really rich in flavour and quite spicy but thats my liking .if your wanting firey food with abit of heat instead of the usual thai then def try this place but to top it off the spring rolls are to.die for and last time i had the curry puffs …. what can i say what a entree. And last but not least the pad sew yee was delicious. Fresh with veggies and meat so soft and tender .what a great way to spend a late night with thai .
Pretty standard Thai food,lunch specials are $10,had pad see ew,the noodles were a little burnt,mixed platter or entree was standard,ambience wise it’s pretty plain inside,food came out at a reasonable rate,prices are a little more than expected,not for me
