This place was absolutely bustling on Saturday night but with a booking we easily made it in for a great night. We went straight for the buffet and there were so many options; soups, salads, roast vegetables, roast meats, seafood and cooked seafood, and also many Chinese and Japanese options to make this the international buffet it is.We took a mountain of food to the table. Not often going to buffets, we went and got everything we wanted once rather than going back for more food and that was probably the best option since there was a line going straight past the buffet for food. The highlights of my meal included the Salt and Pepper Squid which was absolutely delicious and exactly what you’d find at a high end restaurant. The Beef and Black Bean was also one of the great options. I would recommend sticking with what you like and away from the foods you’d usually eat (the chicken, beef patties, etc) as they were quite dry and tasteless.Overall we had a great night, my overall recommendations would be to book if you are expecting a lot of people and to watch what you are grabbing. When passing out cutlery I realised a lot of it hadn’t been properly cleaned. Other than this I would definitely recommend the Bungarribee International Buffet as a great night out for family and friends and I will be back!
The thing to do out a west is the buffet at your local RSL followed by a session on the pokies or Keno. Pretty good selection of dishes here – Roast Carvery, Cold Seafood buffet, salads and Asian and a great dessert bar of cakes, ice cream and toppings. thenextrushmagazine.com
Came here last night on Xmas day. The price was a little high but the food was really good and fresh. Liked how there was s mixture of everything from seafood,lamb shanks , Asian,kids food like chips and nuggets. The cakes were amazing and I’m not much of a sweet tooth person. The chocolate baklava were really yummy. Unlimited drinks and it wasn’t watered down. Ice cream with toppings and sprinkles too. The lay out was good also not too cramped and the staff were OK also. Gave the kids a little Xmas gift. Will be coming here again
Went out four tea with my wife took half hour to get in understand valetime nigjt but put us next to pepole that were having party when ask to move becase we were not happy they told us we were luckey to have seat a seat at all spook to manger that said she would speak to them but doesno exuse my wife getting mcdonolds on the way home not happy we well tell pepople we know not to go there
Horrible!. I went there on Tuesday night, I arrive at 6:15pm. Get seated, go to get food and find out the roasted beef and pork is gone already, soup are tasteless and all the vegetables are over cooked. The only thing that is eatable is prawns, not 100% fresh but ok. I left at 7:45, roasted meat never added, just empty tray from start to finish. Staff…..well I can’t make a review since they are very hard to spot. Everybody was playing hide and seek with the customers.
Bungarribee Buffett – what a sham!I called the Workers Club in the afternoon and was told I could make a booking to call back when they open at 5:15, so I rang back and waited on hold for 5 mins, then to only be told ‘we are not taking bookings’…Clearly a severe case of the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing in this place.We got to the buffet at 6pm, to join a massive queue which just wasn’t moving. 10 people all hungry and children who were starving. We waited over 1 hour and the line is still not moving, then the lady from the front comes down the line and asks ‘is anyone here for their booking?’.Well, this was the tip of the ice berg for me. To be told by the Workers Club staff I can make a booking, then to be told by the Buffet staff I can’t, and them to come down the line & ask for who has a booking is just poor poor service.And we were towards the front of the line, the line was excessively long and other patrons were in for a wait more than an hour. No body came and told them how long they would expect to have to wait.I went to the lady at the front who was showing people to their tables, I found out they were holding tables for people who had bookings, even though those people were very late.I told her of my debacle with what I was told and told her I will take 10 people elsewhere to spend out money, she was trying to help me the best I could, but with such mayhem in there it was just not possible.Bungarribee buffet should have advised the Workers club staff if they weren’t taking bookings. They had a line out the door which they weren’t servicing at all, just letting people stand & wait for over an hour, an hour and more for sure!In such a busy place they need to have a better system and should value their guests a little better.Would not recommend this at all – never going here again. Poor experience.
