My partner is extremely fussy with Asian food and he rates this place. Food is fresh and tasty. nice and friendly customer service. I would definitely rate this place to my family and friends
Just stumbled on this restaurant earlier today situated in Flushcombe Road, Blacktown. Parking was so tight so I parked inside the Blacktown Library. It’s free unlimited parking hours and just a few steps away from this restaurant. I was induced to drop by since I love Vietnamese food (though I am no Vietnamese). Besides I like checking on newly established restaurants to see and taste something new, something I have never tasted or seen before. The ambiance was so cozy and the place is spot clean to start with. The selections of food have induced me and my friend to eat. I happened to speak to the owner whilst waiting for what my friend and I ordered. It became apparent to me that she happens to be a close blood relative of the owner of Pho Restaurant, level 4 of WestPoint. I will not go through the details but a rift had prompted her to open this restaurant along Fluscombe Road. She purported to tell me that she was the main cook there so I was inquisitive to find out if she can put a bone to that representation, so to speak. For entree, I ordered North spring rolls. Now that was freakin’ heaven – an explosion of taste indeed! The other type of spring rolls they serve, is called South spring rolls, which is basically, the typical spring rolls we know. I highly recommend to everyone to try their North spring rolls because you willl never appreciate the traditional spring rolls anymore which Chinese restaurants and takeaways serve. So yeah, I have never seen spring rolls served this way, the North version. Great innovation, I must say, beautifully structured and awesome entree. Who knows, eventually the cook will come up with the East and West spring rolls somewhere down the track lol.For main, I ordered their deep fried flounder fish. I love it — brilliant taste, and the sauce it came with was a great compliment. Together creates an explosion of tastes. It was a cracking dish indeed! I cannot wait to try their deep fried snapper, on my second visit because it is served with fresh salads and shreds of fresh green mango. The cook highly recommended this one, though pricey (about $40’sh) I will try it on my next dining. For dessert, the deep fried ice cream caught my attention so I ordered it, and damn — the best deep fried ice cream ever! Not only that it tastes heavenly, the actual serving was so generous. I have never seen this dessert (deep fried ice cream, that is) served in this size and structure so overall me and my friend devoured it with pleasure within minutes. This one deserves a special attention, so I took a pic I can flaunt around 🙂
While not Cabramatta standard I still enjoyed my meal The spring rolls have a lot of taste and I like the rough outer skin it has. It’s also a bigger size The special rice which is there version of the broken rice combination but also not quite It doesn’t have the pork party and sort have there version of the pork floss and the pork chop was big! Taste wise nice also, like a honey glaze to me Prices are a little higher than expected Food came out at a reasonable rate Parking maybe an issue though Enjoyed it!
